Advisors are selected to address current questions, not to fill permanent seats.

Advisor consideration may fit people with relevant experience in:

Experience alone does not create an appointment. The experience must fit an active question.

Every assignment must identify:

• Final decision authority

• Assignment status

Initial assignments may include a focused review of a pathway standard, operating safeguard, evidence requirement, sponsor boundary, privacy control, or first-cycle decision.

Some assignments may require one 60-minute review and written recommendations. Other assignments may require a different approved scope.

After completing an approved assignment, an advisor may receive:

• Founding Advisor recognition

• Access to relevant briefings

• Participation in defined solution design

• Documentation of the completed contribution

• Appropriate inclusion in first-cycle reporting

• Consideration for another defined assignment

Recognition follows completed contribution. Interest or appointment alone does not qualify.

An advisory assignment requires:

• Relevant experience

• An active question

• Conflict disclosure

• Confidentiality agreement when required

• Agreed output

• Completion deadline

• Named assignment owner

• Final decision authority

No active question means no new advisory appointment.

Advisors provide recommendations. The authorized decision owner records the final decision.

Conflicts must be disclosed. Recusal may be required when the advisor or their organization could benefit from the decision.

Review the approved information and submit the required recommendation or output.

5. RECORD THE DECISION

The assignment owner accepts, modifies, rejects, or sends the recommendation back for clarification.

6. DOCUMENT THE CONTRIBUTION

Completed contributions may receive approved recognition and reporting.

FOUNDING ADVISOR

A Founding Advisor serves in a limited, non-voting role connected to a defined question or assignment.

An advisor:

• Reviews an approved issue

• Provides expertise and recommendations

• Completes a defined output

• Works within a stated deadline

• Discloses conflicts

• Has no governance or operating authority

The advisory assignment ends when the required work is completed unless another assignment is approved.

FUTURE BOARD MEMBER

A future board member would serve in a formal governance role after the Access Dallas South Regional Chamber is legally established and its governing documents are approved.

A board member may:

• Vote on authorized matters

• Exercise formal oversight

• Approve policy and strategy

• Review organizational performance

• Carry fiduciary and governance responsibilities

An advisory appointment does not guarantee or create a future board seat.

Advisors recommend. Authorized leaders decide. Future board members govern after formal appointment.
